I live in Tennessee. A few years ago, when I went to the grocery store, all I had to be concerned with was the whacko with a gun who comes into the grocery store and opens fire. Today, with all the whacko Republicans in Nashville removing all restraints on gun ownership, I now have to worry about the whacko with a gun opening fire inside the store, but also the whacko “good guy” with a gun returning fire and me getting caught in a cross fire.

A Florida elementary school removed a Disney movie about Ruby Bridges after a parent complained about scenes of white people threatening the Black girl as she entered school.

As soon as Bridges entered the school, white parents pulled their own children out; all the teachers except for one refused to teach while a black child was enrolled. Only one person agreed to teach Bridges and that was Barbara Henry, from Boston, Massachusetts, and for over a year Henry taught her alone, “as if she were teaching a whole class.”
Florida Parents Want To Pull Disney’s ‘Ruby Bridges’ From School Curriculum
Sigh, where do I even begin here?
Parents in Florida’s Pinellas School District are apparently outraged over the screening of Disney’s “Ruby Bridges,” a film that depicts the true story of a 6-year-old’s brave and historical integration in the 1960s at a predominantly white elementary school in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The senator from Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn tweeted after the shooting in Uvalde, Texas and also after the shooting in Nashville yesterday, 3.27… could anyone be more disingenuous than this lady?

Hillary NAILED IT, a basket of alarming deplorables…
