I’ve watched the trial each day for the first 2 days. it’s been compelling. some of the testimony from the testifying witnesses has been for me riveting. the 4 under age kids. the 911 operator. the fire fighter, EMT… and the others have painted a picture of complete indifference from the cops…
the EMT offering to assist and being turned away and testifying in cross examination by the defense that until you have watched a man being killed on your neighborhood street corner, you don’t know how you will respond and finally being admonished by the judge for being argumentative with the attorney for the defense…
the young girl who took the video that went viral testifying that she is haunted by the idea that she didn’t do enough to assist george floyd… that she should have physically stepped in to assist him but didn’t …
and eventually george floyd will be put on trial by the defense… because the defense can’t defend someone who murdered an american on a public street any other way…
